Five Stars! Que Onda Mexican Restaurant in Charlotte exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Service was impressively quick, and the entire dining experience felt seamless. The real highlight of our visit, though, was our server Angelica. She was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Her recommendation of the Margarita was spot on—fresh, perfectly balanced, and one of the best we’ve had. Angelica truly elevated our experience with her friendly energy and excellent service. Can’t wait to come back!
The service was flawless; our server OSCAR was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations without being overbearing. Every dish was a masterpiece, highly recommend the Arrachera asada 100/10 The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the attention to detail in each bite was astounding. Overall the ambiance was impeccable—warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for an evening of culinary delight. Can’t wait for our next date night to come back
Stopped in for lunch. The food was fantastic, came out less than 10 minutes after ordering and our waitress was very friendly. They have upstairs seating available as well as outdoor seating.
Let’s just say the service did not disappoint! Cristian our server was a beast. He personally picked the tacos and tequilas for me and they were all bangers. Crispy shrimp was crispy as can be. Steak tacos were also busting. Wednesdays are half off tequila so get you a coconut pineapple margarita with tajin rim! I would definitely recommend sitting on the rooftop bar to enjoy a little Charlotte view! Definitely will be back and hope Cristian is still there to be our server!
First time here, won't be the last. Wednesday special, small nachos for 5.00, they were served on a skillet and were really good, not large, just a great start to lunch. Our food was really good and the service even better. Great stop for lunch!
First time arriving here. The food that I ordered was excellent. I sat on the second floor overlooking the entrance of the restaurant. My server was Alexis and she was excellent. Actually all the servers are really friendly and seem to love the job. Smiles I am definitely coming back.
We recently visited the restaurant with a group of six adults and a small child. Although we had to wait about 30 minutes due to their no-reservation policy and the restaurant's apparent setup for smaller groups, the experience was well worth it. Once seated, our waiter, Antonio, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the specials. The food was amazing—kudos to the chef! Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning.
This is one of our weekly spots. The food is amazing, the staff is always friendly and they always have a great special. Ask for Troy, he is friendly, fast and provides amazing service! The fajitas are our favorite and the sangria is always wonderful! Great spot in Plaza Midwood!
